Floortime® is an evidence-based approach to promote social and emotional development that is used with children, young adults, and even adults.

Floortime® involves parents in their child’s treatment by using the power of human connection, shared emotional experiences, and play to grow an individual’s abilities.

Floortime® is a relationship-based intervention that promotes social, emotional, and intellectual skills and functioning.

Floortime is designed for individuals who need help developing skills related to:

Meet our Director

Dr. Erica Skidmore

Dr. Skidmore is a Licensed Psychologist with 15 years of experience diagnosing, assessing, and providing interventions for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Dr. Skidmore received her Floortime training in Pasadena, California from supervisors who have been instrumental in the acceptance of Floortime as an evidenced-based intervention for ASD. She has attended trainings with Stanley Greenspan, the developer of Floortime, and she has trained other professionals in how to use Floortime techniques. Dr. Skidmore's passion for helping children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders began with two of her own family members being diagnosed with ASD over 20 years ago.
